What Are The Best Ways To Plug In?

Hands, Discipleship, Team

Thanks for the question, Peter.

We are asked this from time to time and normally just answer it individually.  As I responded by email today, I thought, “why not answer with a blog post as well?”

We are always looking for new and better ways to connect, encourage, and support ministers.  We are also looking for outreach opportunities and ways to provide discipleship.  We are a relationship focused ministry and believe relationships are key to discipleship and support.

Hands Together, Discipleship
Discipleship is Relationship Based

Relationships can’t be forced or go beyond what one or both parties want.  Because of this we offer opportunities and invite people to connect with us as much as they need or want. Outreach and discipleship are a little different as we take a more active role in creating and encouraging the relationship.

Here are the best ways to plug into Experience Ministries and new discipleship opportunities we are about to launch.

Online Groups: We beta tested a new group format and material recently and will be launching this for everyone very soon.  The online groups are great for discipleship and relationship building.

Email:  This remains the best and fastest way to connect.  We connect with and support people all over the United States.  Email overcomes time zones and schedules.

Phone: Second to email would be phone calls. Connecting by phone is much better relationally, but sometimes finding a time to chat can be difficult. When the phone rings we try to answer, but that isn’t always possible.  We try to return calls in a timely way.  Unfortunately, phone tag is a reality.

Gatherings: We love getting together in person.  For those local or geographically close this is great. For people who don’t live close we try to create in person opportunities. This can happen when we are traveling or when people are traveling through our area.  We try to have at least one retreat per year which includes teaching and fellowship time.  This spring we canceled 2 gatherings because of the pandemic.  We are looking at the fall for another gathering.

The website:  This is a good way to access general information, courses, and videos. The great thing about the website is that it is live 24 / 7.

Monthly Webcasts:  We are currently doing 2 live webcasts per month.  The 1st Thursday at noon central time and the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7pm central time.  These are great ways to connect as they are live video and chat.  We do record the video portion, but the chat is an additional benefit to the live stream.

The Mobil App:  We just launched the mobile app and will be adding new things as we move forward.  Check out the app as it gives quick access to the training videos, has a prayer wall and other useful information.

Maybe the best way to connect with us and plug in is the way that is the easiest for you.  Give us a call, shoot us an email or check out the mobile app.  We would love to have you participate in the upcoming online groups and be part of our discipleship efforts.
